I've been seeing the same thing (2.6-1etch1). Also, I've noticed that it seems to let the same IP hammer longer than it is supposed to now - I think the bad guys have thrown a wrench in the works.
There is also something wrong with the statistics - see http://stats.denyhosts.net/stats.html

Is it possible to provide an amd64 deb? or at least provide the debian source pkg?
It appears that this package is in ubuntu so it should be easy to add it to Debian.
Adding it to Debian would be a good way to get extra help in maintaining it as many other distributions use Debian as their feed-stock.

As they pulled nvu out of Debian, it is important to add AMD64 support to kompozer so it can be built for newer systems.
"The upstream developer [of NVU] is not updating NVU anymore. He is working on a new version including an entire code rewrite."
In the mean time there is no tool that replaces NVU in linux and non that supports amd64.
If a AMD64 system is needed to do the job, let me...
