Hi over the years I got a huge package of different 7-Zip files of different versions from different sources: - the main package / installation of the software itself - some cmd-line exe for my own tools - some exe and dll and sfx and ... from plugins for Total Commander - some "things" as support tools from big commercial software - and what else ... Here is my list of files and versions: 7-zip.dll 23.1.0.0 23.10 7-zip32.dll 23.1.0.0 23.10 7-ZipFar.dll 19.0.0.0 19.00 7-ZipFar64.dll 19.0.0.0 19.00...
At the moment we use V1.39 and are happy with it and its features. Relating the question "To Upgrade or not to Upgrade?" we have the usual discussion "newer is better vs. never change a running system". So is there just a deadline for V1.x? "The end is near" - or not? Thanks for the tool!!

I would like to create a kind of "readme.txt" - file inside the archive while creating it. It should contain simple info like: "Created automatically with <PCNAME> by <USERNAME> on <DATE, TIME> and contains <some information>" Are there some ways to make it with pure 7-zip? regards!
