hi,
i have posted a message month ago about WOL on freenas with shuttle K45.
i see that somebody have problem with WOL , that doesn't work with NIC wol compatible card.
so could you post NIC card that WOL work with last freenas 0.7RC1
is there another freenas solution with other linux distribution ?.

so you can confirm us that there is no way to poweroff a system that have APM only in BIOS ?
only ACPI work for powering off a PC ?.

Does The APM actual freenas complication work ??
To enable APM support, you can compile a kernel with power management support
(device apm0 on FreeBSD 4.X and device apm on FreeBSD 5.X). A kernel module for
APM is available under FreeBSD 5.X, to simply load the APM kernel module at boot
