I'm not sure what null entry you deleted. Did you edit the data file directly? Did you try reopening a backup file? Backup files are in the same directory as your primary file and numbered 1, 2, 3, etc. You can remove the period and number at the end to make it easy to open the backup file.

This post was also flagged. I removed the file from the post so it wasn't accessible publicly. I kept a copy for now in case we need to continue our discussion. The files with a numeric extension are backup files with ".1" being the most recent. I recommend copying the ".1" file as the main VMT file and opening that. You would have lost your most recent edits, but not the whole database. I have the program default to backing up the 5 most recent sessions, but a user can alter this in the preferences....

Somehow this post was flagged for approval and I wasn't notified. Sorry for the delay. This smaller file is corrupt and unusable. I couldn't open it in a standard ZIP program. I suggest switching to a backup file.

I wonder if this started happening with a change in the Java version. I'm not having any issues currently, so maybe the file wasn't fully written. Please email me your file so I can try to troubleshoot.

While there's no direct export feature stated, it does contain the ability to export to HTML by printing a report. The HTML file can be saved from your web browser and imported into a spreadsheet program. CSV export won't work due to the limited ability of the format.

I'm sitting on another mid release that has a few more additions and some bug fixes as well as some revamping of GUI in preparation for use as a mobile app. I want to do more before releasing it.

I'm glad to hear you haven't had issues. I've found a few bugs I need to fix as well...
