I bought a Bamboo Fun tablet, which I thought was already supported, but I have found that the driver did not attach to the tablet. After some tinkering, I found that lsusb reports the following:
Bus 002 Device 002: ID 056a:0017 Wacom Co., Ltd
...but the device identifier table built into the kernel did not had that device added, so I made this little patch to add proper support. I tested...

I sent yesterday a bug reporte with an attached patch which adds a "--no-kernel" command line switch. We are using metalog with that patch in our VServers:

Someone posted a feature request for disabling kernel logging. Metalog won't run inside a Linux VServer when trying to read kernel logs, so I have attached a patch which adds the "--no-kernel" (or "-N") command line flag that avoids spawning the slave process which reads log messages from the kernel.
