It should be ok to use FA as a back office and build a synpos connector for it. I haven't got chance to look at the FA code yet but I heard it's a fork of weberp. synpos is designed as a pos client for erp or ecommerce applications and very flexible, you can use it in single stoe or multi stores, single station or multi stations, real time sync, manual sync or no sync(stand alone).

Thanks for your interest. I checked frontaccounting, it looks similar to weberp, so it's possible to build a connector for it. I would be happy to implement it if you or any other people can fund the project.
