Running the server on a Linux system, and client on a MacOS X Leopard running iMac. Launching Second Life on the Mac, logging in, and using it via the Linux keyboard and mouse makes for an odd experience.
The up/down keys, when held down, double-tap and thus makes the controlled avatar run.
Left-right keys only turn part-way, requiring "pumping" the keys to work. Same goes for...

You cannot mount to an iPhone or iPod Touch with the third-party DataCase app on it -- it times out.
For example:

tygris@redwolf ~ $ avahi-browse -a -r
+ eth0 IPv4 RedWolf's iPod touch Apple File Sharing local

Gentoo box has Gutenprint 5.1.4; ubuntu laptop has 5.0.1. Both are using the PPD's that came in the builds (I didn't install them seperately, just letting Gentoo/Ubuntu do it for me). Do I need to pull the PPD's out?.

Does anyone know where the US Legal size setting is in Gutenprint? I can't find it for two printers I have (an Epson Stylus C82 and a Canon BJC-250). I had to use the Foomatic bjc250gs driver to get my webcomic page patterns up and running.

I have a Hauppauge WinTV USB2 and a Logitech Quickcam for Notebooks. The WinTV uses these drivers: em28xx, tvp5150, and msp3400. The Quickcam requires the gspca driver (third party).
Nether does mmap'ed video.
Strangely enough, MPlayer can handle that.
Can we try non-mmap'ed video in Linux?
Anyway, Gentoo Linux (updated 05/05/2007) using a 2.6.21.1 kernel. The v4l2 drivers are...
