i can find nothing on the dev list about Your work so it
seems Youre interested in doing this alone.

proprietary routers, im out of here and back on the beach
:p.

hi,
1. duplicate? ok but what duplicate of ..? pls say bug nr.
2. rewritten? ok fine but last time i updated to svn head,
audio support
was out. is it usable by now?
3. UPNP is still V1.0 and widely considered as a security
hazard and the firmware upnp of many (what You call modern
routers) embedded routers is still buggy or broken and
theres no OSS...

hello,
xes ive read the faq but even with the known issues with
c/s-programming with networks it sounds slightly too
speculative:
blaming routers, etc, is a known habit but mostly turned out
to be unreasonable in practice since most nowadays routers
are cone nat, which home user has symmetric nat indeed? and
you use stun here dont you?
my tests with...

@netswipe: great answer.
you better give some investigation tips for new devs.
@all:
-cvs 3/15/06 works with files around 5MB but crashes with
50MB after 10% progress.
-2.0.0beta2...cvs head: transfer startup gets stuck and
"accept" from peer ignored.
is there some protocol docs? i cant fix it without.

ok, sorry, maybe overlay was not correct, should be called
inlay, surface, whatever.
read the v4l2 library specs on bytesex org, therere some
clipping methods... maybe its not possible with current v4l2.

hi,
under windos its possible to have "transparent overlay"
display, with contrast black theme in x winmanagers you
could browse the web or work while watching tv
fullscreen then, without having to switch windows to
background and foreground.
watchtvpro dvb-viewer could do that.
is there a known parameter to xv-api, etc, or a way to
do this?
i would like to implement it soon...
