I don't have the priority set for Fire to activate on new
messages. But I have not noticed this happening since
upgrading to 0.32.a. You can mark this closed.

I don't believe it happens all the time, but most of
the time when I press Apple-H to hide fire it just
hides the window, but leaves Fire as the active
application. I don't believe this happens when going
to the menu bar to do it.

It's most likely that Darwin isn't writing over your MBR. I
don't know why, but some MBRs will get written over, other's
wont. This doesn't appear to be a GNU-Darwin specific item,
but a Darwin one. I don't know as though there is anything
we can do regarding this. You might try installing lilo or
grub and having that point to the darwin booter partition.

Does this happen with GNU-Darwin beta 2.5 or 2.3? And does
it occour with Apple's Darwin 1.41?.

There are some files that do need updating, for instance:
getPackages references:
http://gnu-darwin.sourceforge.net/packages/ppc/Latest/g-d-package-install.tgz
which really points to:
http://us.dl.sourceforge.net/sourceforge/gnu-darwin/direct_download/packages/ppc/Latest/g-d-package-install.tgz
perhaps the installer is having problems with this redirection?.

If it doesn't compile using the ports system (or exist in
it), it most likely won't get done by GNU-Darwin, you might
try asking Fink.

Is this bug still present? Please respond in a couple days
if it is open. If not, then I will close it.

This error no longer exists in the current getPackages script.

I tried running the one stop installer on a clean darwin
6.0.2 install, and recieved multiple error messages when
trying to access things at
http://gnu-darwin.sourceforge.net/. There were some other
errors when trying to fetch various packages. getPackages
also will not run when using /bin/sh, it needed /bin/csh.
