The igb driver support a newer family of Intel Ethernet devices. So no it won't support the ESB2 LAN device. We are still talking about what could be going on with this problem. We'll let you know what we comn up with.

There were ioatdma driver changes that went into 2.6.29. Also, there were 2 other commits that were also added. These are for self-test errors reported on start up. So I don't know that they apply to this case. They were:

Jesse is out this week. I don't know where he was on this so I think we need to wait for him to get back into the office next week. If we find out something in the mean time we'll get the information into this bug.

Is this only showing up on the eht1 interface? What happened to eth2 and eth3? There have been some fixes in the 7.6.15.5 and even the 8.0.1 driver versions. So they are worth trying. Let us know the answers to the above questions and if the newer driver help.

What type of system is this happening on? The flush and delay should not be affecting anything. So this isn't making any sense.

This bug has been fixed with what was known as the Woodcreast fix that made it upstream in the 2.6.23 kernel.
