    Alex, No change from iBCS-3.1 when executing an SCO Unix application. As was the case with the previous version, the database server process silently dies. Yet, the application runs just fine in single user mode. I will send you the execution trace. -Robert.

    On OpenSUSE 10.2 and the distribution stock kernel version 2.6.18.2-34-default: abi_2_6_xx compiled OK. abi_ldr loaded the modules OK ... abi_wyse 19840 0 abi_uw7 27264 0 abi_solaris 28672 0 abi_isc 18560 0 abi_ibcs 17792 0 abi_sco 25728 0 abi_cxenix 13440 1 abi_sco abi_svr4.

    My thanks again to Ed Reed for providing a well written howto on the steps to apply the patch. I can add that Ed's linux-abi-2.6.16.21-SUSE.diff.bz2 patch applies cleanly to the current Suse10.1 kernel source - 2.6.16.27-0.6-default.

    Logged In: YES user_id=1111689 This patch applies cleaning to the 2.6.16.13-4 kernel of OpenSUSE10.1. All hunks succeeded. The patched kernel compiles without error.
