The "most recent map" feature only saves the last four maps opened, at least on my installation. Is there a way to increase the number of files which FreePlane remembers for Most Recent Maps? I've also noticed that the four it remembers are not the most recent four that were opened. Where is the info stored, can it be tweaked manually? thank you

Submaps sound like a great idea, and having multiple tabs like in a spreadsheet is the UI feature the majority of users already understands. Good luck with the endeavor Dimitry!

Still learning Freeplane, but it's been very helpful already. I'm wondering what the best method is for a workflow where there is a large map which includes a list, and a smaller map which would link to the larger map. For example, lets say the large map is a list of songs, and a smaller map is created for a particular gig / performance. You've already got lots of song data in your large map. However, the gig you are rehearsing for will always have exceptions. For example, the singer wants to change...

It doesn't fix the issue. Technically, I'm able to go into one particular note. But you have to select all of the text, and then set a font size. It won't change the font size in every other note, or in any other map file. I don't think a font size was ever specified for these notes. So it seems that Freeplane assigned a default font size, equal to the smallest font there is. Maybe because it's the first in a list. So my question perhaps has drifted from "How can the editor display be set to display...

The notes editor is extremely small, see attached picture. I was unable to change it with Format -> Manage Styles -> Edit Styles Can it be changed? Is there some way to have the notes editor use a similar scaling as the root node, or perhaps set a default size for the installation? Freeplane 1.7.10
