First of all, thanks you for your prompt answer, I'm sorry that I didn't get back to you before.
I understand the reason for the julius fork now, but I'd like to avoid having two Julius versions in Ubuntu. I can add any patches required to the existing package, as long as they don't break any functionality, but from your statement "these adjustments are quite specific and were not...

Hello,
Is it possible to build Simon against a standard copy of Julius 4.1.2 installed on the system?
I'm asking because Julius is packaged and in Ubuntu's official repositories (I packaged it, and will get it also into Debian within the next months) and I'd like to have a go at packaging Simon too.
However, having a copy of something else (in this case Julius) in the source tarball and...

While investigating an unrelated issue, I found that blueproximity calls the proximity command twice as often as configured.
Steps to reproduce:
- In Preferences > Locking enter this "Proximity command:"
date>>/tmp/proximity-runs.log
- Set the Command Interval to a small value (e.g. 60 seconds)
- Watch that log file
I would expect to see a timestamp every ~50 seconds.....

I think it'd be good if Geany would create the directory ~/.cache (or whichever directory the Xdg variables say) if it does't exist.
The first time I try to run geany with sudo it complains about not being able to write the config file, being the problem that /root/.config doesn't exist.

When I first tried to add a user without selecting a gid (because I hadn't created any group yet), submitting the form didn't do anything. I think there should be some sort of warning telling that a gid is necessary (well okay, there's the "required" text, but anyway :)).

Here is an example of what the template could be: http://paste.ubuntu.com/5433/plain/. (Not sure if that URL is permanent but I couldn't find any option to upload files here on SourceForge.net).
