I am the author and I see it. Why o why were they working when I uploaded and now magically they've been changed and are not anymore I don't know. I found the error(s) and will upload a fix in a day or two In the meantime if you wish to fix the error yourself, open the script files with Notepad The Sunset to Sunset script find this line if (Math.abs(UT-u) > 24) The Sunrise to Sunrise find this line if (Math.abs(UT-utcTime) > 24) and change them both to if (Math.abs(UT-utcTime) > 4) Yes it's suppose...

If anyone is interested I made an Angle Measuement Tool Script here http://www.alienbasecamp.com/Stellarium/angletool.htm It works a little different. No blue line in space, but instead you pre-selected 2 bodies and it will give the RA, Dec and Elongation between them, and you can change the date & time and the script will stay with the bodies and continuously update. You don't have to keep going back and try to draw the line over& over.

If you don't need to be super accurate To find the declination of the Ecliptic at any given right ascension just take the Sin of the right ascension * obilquty(Earth's Tilt) of date For a few years ± around 2020 Declanation of Ecliptic = Sin(RA) * 23.43669028 Should get you within a few 10ths of a degree Note: RA will be in degrees or radians depending on what you use to calculate.

I'm having this same issue too with 0.17. No problem in 0.16.1 or previous versions. Same as descibed in the original post, every lunar eclipse will cause Stellarium to imeadietaly crash. Even if I try and view earth / moon during a LE from other planets like Venus, it will still crash. However, I can view other moon eclispes from other planets (i.e. Ganymede from Jupiter) and they work fine with no issues. Unfortunately the log file is the same before and after it crashes
