LaTex could be great as target for documentation
generation.
Could you make the Abstract Syntax Tree part of
your implementation available?
Ideal would be if your AST classes are well defined.
One could then extract from them the MOF/UML Model
(using EMF), and provide both EMF-API's and the
(by EMF generated) XMI2.0 Schema for your ASTs as
interfaces.

The original owner of the Xasm sources, A4M AG
(www.a4m.biz) continues using Xasm in their projects.
A4M AG is convinced that moving the software to open
source was very beneficial for its clients which are very
happy to have now an open and platform independent tool.
Currently some of the Xasm project members at A4M are

Matthias Anlauff and Philipp Kutter anounced the Xasm Open Source project to the ASM community at the Dagstuhl ASM workshop (http://www.dagstuhl.de/DATA/Title/02101.html). The ASM community wellcomed the initiative, which creates a mutually beneficial competition with the ASM software offered by Microsoft (http://research.microsoft.com/fse/AsmL/default.html).
