Is it possible, to report domains like e.g. "reinholds.de" as error, although they result in a valid website but only spam & advertising and not the content, that was intended, when the link was created?
Maybe the answer could also be added to the FAQ ...

This seems to be an issue with emulating OpenGL through mesa ...
Now, that I found out how to enable hardware acceleration, the problem vanished.

Its not necessary to obscure part of the view. It crashes almost every time I use the rotate view, not depending on the screen geometry. I can sometimes rotate a little, but if I have bad luck, it crashes. And the longer I keep the mouse button pressed, the higher the probability!
Moreover, I onetime succeeded in shrinking the views through complicated series of maximizing and unmaximizing...

Forget about the tooltips ... it seems randomly obscured by the view, which would make for an extra error.
To reproduce the crash, draw a simple cylinder, unmaximize the window and drag it slightly offscreen, so that a part of the camera view is gone, select rotate view and keep on dragging over the camera-view. It will crash KDE within 5 seconds.

Today I installed AoI and followed the hourglas-tutorial.
I had the top and bottom plates along with the cylindric sticks connectinc them, when the tutorial encouraged me to have a closer look and rotate the model.
Suddenly my KDE was killed:

You can open 2 or more maps at the same time and switch using Alt+CursorLeft and Alt+CursorRight
Additionally, if you require to view them at the same time, how about creating a supernode, whose first level of children represent the root of your different maps? You can separate them later on via copy'n'paste.
