Cut/Paste isn't working for me either. This was compiled from source on FC6. Basically, (even with Klipper off), cut and paste breaks by chopping off the last character in the field to be pasted. The last character being chopped off is when copying from FC6 to Windows XP. Copying and pasting from WinXP to FC6 works okay. Also, the behavior is the same wither using copy or cut.
