Firefox 3.0 is going to pass feed URIs to external applications as feed: URIs, which unfortunately isn't going to work well with Liferea's current handling of them.
If I'm reading http://liferea.svn.sourceforge.net/viewvc/liferea/trunk/liferea/src/subscription.c?view=markup#l_58 correctly, "feed://" will be stripped off, and the result passed on to code that expects a full URI with a scheme.
