Using the zbar 0.9 Windows installer, zbarimg fails to run at all. I have ImageMagick (DLL) 6.5.6 q16.
C Run-Time Error R6034 occurs when trying to run zbarimg.
According to Microsoft, it is a build issue:

I am not all that familiar with programming using ImageMagick, but when I built zbar 0.9 on my system, I substituted the call to MagickSetDepth to MagickSetImageDepth. The documentation seems to indicate that MagickSetImageDepth (available in ImageMagick 6.2.8 which comes with RHEL 5/CentOS 5) does the same thing. The friend/foe "pills" are appearing in the wrong place in the browser window, overlaying the text. This is when using the "traditional" discussion system rather than the AJAXified one. Usage details:

In both Firefox 2 and Firefox 3, most of the decoration appears to be missing for both the non beta index and story pages. A screenshot is enclosed.
