  • Followup: RE: Text display

I wonder why one provides a getter without providing the corresponding setter in the case of a color property... I remotely hoped to see more action here because I think the Atris framework isn't bad at all. It's simple (you could easily add the setters yourself for example) and with some refactoring it could be one of the best examples or 'start-from-frameworks' available. But there are...

(This is all I have. Hey, pleaZZZ, make it easy on us who are willing to alpha-test your program. Hit button = Send e-mail to someone??? The idea alone of having to go to Sourceforge... I am sure you could get a lot of help, Columba -looks- good, and that's a major achievement considering you are bound to Java.) ava.io.IOException: Kan geen bestand maken dat al bestaat.

  • Quality [continued]

Let's imagine the quality of the docs is indeed superb. If there is no support, a not so very inactive userlist, and just one active developer the quality of the framework could certainly be improved. And what about the future of Atris? You'll find a list of the twenty most active Java Application Frameworks at http://nilostep.com. compare first...

  • Followup: RE: Next realese, new functionality?

sorry, i am not interested in opinions, just in facts. the quality of documentation (and source) can be measured using certain metrics. I was referring to these metrics. Interpretation of these metrics is not a subject to discuss here imo.

If you run a source metrics doclet like checkstyle over the source you will see that in fact this is application is very poorly documented. The so called "source distribution" does not even compile...

  • Followup: RE: Menu/toolbar in xml

Please do... Kevin seems to have a communication problem lately. I have already everything in my own CVS. All we need is a CVS on the internet. (Here maybe...) and a developerlist for commit messages. It needs a LOT of work..., e.g. he has 0 zero junit tests... What do you think? NiLOSTEP.

I haven't got a clue what you are talking about. Explain on your homepage what you are going to build. nilostep.

Hi. Any examples to get started more easily? The reference sites are a good proof of concept. Would like to help writing tech docs.
