Make Saros show titles of open dialogs in saros view
It should be possible to determine which modal dialogs a user has opened and transfer the dialog title to other users, so they know what the participant is doing., Example: Creating a new java class....

Support smileys (emoticons)
Make the chat display cute smileys. Would make users happy, as they do not see each others faces and emotions cannot be fully expressed just by verbal communication.

Correct placement of ballon notifications
In general, ballon notifications are misplaced ,especially when the user has multiple screens. Make the saros view smaller by resizing it while a ballon notification is shown > the balloon dangles in midair until it disappears. Looks weird and shouldn't happen. Balloons should either disappear when this happens, or they should move with the saros view.

Make Balloons not overlap editorparts
It would be nice if users would not have to complain about the balloon notifications overlapping their editor viewpart, which they find too obstrusive. Woudl be good if the ballooons would hook somewhere else, for example to the bottom of the saros session. Or even better: if a user is affected, let the balloon point to the user of the session, or the buddy in the buddylist.
