> Add the following to your customization layer:
Sorry, I don't know how to use a customization layer. Is that just a XSL file that I should use instead of the regular fo XSL file, which includes the regular one?.

No, I don't think this should be closed, because there's obviously a missing link. I have retitled the bug.

Yes, I want to use section, or something, to divide the appendix up into groups of reference sections.
I find it very strange that the reader would ever have to use the Next link to actually see the content in a section, with no clue that that's what he must do. I don't see the point of a link to the TOC or to the page itself.

Ah, I now see that the content is in that file, but I didn't see it before, because the link from the apa.html page is wrong - it links to apa.html itself instead of re01.html. I have attached my apa.html page.
File Added: apa.html.

I have attached my re01.html file. You can see that there's no mention of "Foo A Property 1", for instance.
I'm using Ubuntu 8.04 (Hardy). Here are my versions:
murrayc@murrayc-desktop:~$ pkg-config libxml-2.0 --modversion
2.6.31
murrayc@murrayc-desktop:~$ pkg-config libxslt --modversion
1.1.22
murrayc@murrayc-desktop:~$ xsltproc --version
Using libxml 20631, libxslt 10122 and...

The html (or xhtml) xsl seems to hardcode "Name" as the title for sections instead of the actual title.
For instance, using the attached example (on Ubuntu Hardy):
xsltproc http://docbook.sourceforge.net/release/xsl/current/xhtml/docbook.xsl section_refentry.xml > test.html
results in the attached test.html page.

When I put a refentry in a section, in an appendix, the html (or xhtml) chunk.xsl loses that content when it creates the html.
The content is not lost when using docbook.xsl (one page) or onechunk.xsl (one chunked page).
For instance, using the attached example (on Ubuntu Hardy):
xsltproc -o test_html/ http://docbook.sourceforge.net/release/xsl/current/xhtml/chunk.xsl...

This bug report should be clsoed because patches were filed instead. Sourceforge separates bugs and patches in separate systems. Sourceforge is awful.

So is there a bug or not? If not then this should be closed.
