I have to check again but as I can remember I have no idea where it is the progress bar in gscan2pdf, so I think that I never saw it.

Well with xsane duplex is working also at higher DPI but gscanpdf is working just at 100dpi. The issue that natively the deskew is not working with both, so if I do single scans with gscan2pdf at 600dpi with deskew enable everything is fine. For me is not clear if deskew is by the printer or it is somethign that the software can do anyway.

somewhere a progress bar can be an idea. RIght now if I scan a single page, press the button for rotating here is no feedback, few seconds after magically the image is rotated.

You are right, I get Error importing image /tmp/gscan2pdf-xiNI/sKXeoU4wq5.png: No space left on device at /usr/share/perl5/Gscan2pdf/Document.pm line 4812 thread 1. The problem is that the tmp folder incude old folder of gscan2pdf that are not removed so I have to clean manually those.

Log attached with the same error as before on using duplex.

File attached, I am not using OCR (it is disabled) so honestly I don't care so much of fonts but if this can help on fixing issues there are no problems :-D

Maybe adding a maximum number of undo or an alert when /tmp is full can avoid crashes.
