  • Pre-compiled files download

Hello, the documentation (http://sourceforge.net/docman/display_doc.php?docid=97388&group_id=227508) makes reference to the ability to download the files in a precompiled format but all I can find are the source code files (https://sourceforge.net/scm/?type=cvs&group_id=227508) which are of little use to me since I do not have the necessary software or time to compile the files. Where...

  • Comment: Zip archive may fail to extract

This issue exists when the archive is created using Mac OS X's builtin facilities on 10.5.3 and 10.4.11 as well, I am at a loss as to what is causing this problem.

  • Comment: Zip archive may fail to extract

To clarify, I have only tried compressing using Mac OS X 10.5.2 and earlier versions of Leopard. I have confirmed that the archive fails to expand using Mac OS X's builtin utility on 10.5.2 and 10.4.11. I will continue this investigation by seeing if the results are any different when compressing using 10.5.3 and 10.4.11.

  • Comment: Zip archive may fail to extract

Hello, I have actually only tried compressing using Mac OS X 10.5.2. This afternoon I plan to test using 10.5.3 and 10.4.11 and will report back my findings, this issue may be isolated to 10.5.2 and at the very most I hope it's just something broken in Leopard.

  • 1: Still waiting for a reply

Still waiting for a reply to my ticket: http://sourceforge.net/tracker/index.php?func=detail&aid=1975699&group_id=1&atid=200001 ...this issue is hurting my project as many users assume that if the Mac OS X builtin utility fails to extract the contents that the archive is toast. Please look into this issue, I have been waiting for staff follow up for 5 days now. Thanks!

  • Comment: Zip archive may fail to extract

Hello, I am the Moire X project maintainer as shown by viewing my profile: http://sourceforge.net/users/moire/ . I am having trouble properly uploading the zip as I have described and would like assistance in figuring out what's going wrong between me and sourceforge's servers. Please help, thanks!

  • Zip archive may fail to extract

This issue has been confirmed on Mac OS X 10.5.2 and 10.4.11, it may exist on other versions of Mac OS X as well. Despite how the archive is made (via Mac OS X's builtin facilities or through Stuffit) the archive fails to extract via Mac OS X's builtin facilities once downloaded from sourceforge, the archive does not have this issue before being uploaded to sourceforge. TEMPORARY WORKAROUND.
