I tried the Ubuntu Jaunty package, which is 0.4.2, and it does *not* have this problem. Strange. (It's also able to hear my MIDI keyboard, whereas the version I compiled is not. Can't successfully connect to jack, though.)

I've also tried this with builds of 0.4.4 and 0.4.0. Both exhibit this problem. (0.4.0 doesn't buzz system calls as quickly, but it also uses 100% CPU with the app idle.)
I tried building 0.3.2, but could (easily) get autotools to work.

I'm trying out lmms stable-0.4 on ubuntu jaunty with the standard
kernel, running as a regular user (no rt). It spins the CPU. Looking
at it with strace, it's doing this (below) repeatedly. I'm assuming
this is not expected behavior. Has anyone seen this before? I can
try to debug it, but I thought I'd ask first.
