I want to search for the first TRUE value in a given array. In Calc, I write "=MATCH(TRUE, , 0), which Calc automatically changes to "=MATCH(1, , 0)". This works OK, suggesting that Calc interprets TRUE as 1.
When this gets converted to Excel, the formula remains "=MATCH(1, , 0)" - but this does NOT match the TRUE values, i.e. in Excel TRUE and 1 seems to be different...

I have a problem with the new reflow feature of Geany 0.18 on Ubuntu 9.04 x64:
I want the lines to break after column 80, so I have both the "Line breaking column" and "Long line marker" set to 80. With this setup and line-breaking ON, the lines will break after column 79 (not 80 - feature or bug?) when writing new text, but earlier with the reflow command: the first line of the...

Thanks, it works. (Tested on the 1.79 release, instead of the cvs version.)

When I do "scite filename -goto 100", the go-to command is ignored with "check.if.already.open=1", i.e. the file stays open and the position does not change.
Without "check.if.already.open=1", it works as expected, i.e. scite opens the file in new window and jumps to line 100 there.
(I really need to be able to tell SciTE (via a command line) to jump to a given line in an open file, to be...

I have just installed 4.4.0-tdm-1 (r2), using the on-demand installer, on freshly installed WinXP, together with MSYS.
I tried to build a Cbc solver from https://projects.coin-or.org/svn/Cbc/stable/2.3, but the build failed.
I then downloaded all the components (core, g++ and fortran) manually to be sure I have the "-2" versions, but it still dies with the following error message...

Add an possibility to change location or file name of the ini-file ~/.hugin (on Linux), for ex. using a command line option.
The reason is that there is another program called Hugin (www.hugin.com), which actually pre-dates your Hugin, and it uses the same ini-file - so they mess it up for each other. I have asked them and the path ~/.hugin is hard-coded there, so my only hope for using both is...

Hello,
Is there a way to force texify to pass only the filename to latex.exe, without the path?
Calling latex.exe with the path becomes a problem when used together with source specials, as the in gets written to DVI will have forward slashes, instead of the "standard Windows" backslashes. When Yap sends such a path to a text editor (during inverse search), the editor might not...

I have two problems with the forward and inverse search, using gedit 2.24.1, LaTeX Plugin 1.1.3.1 (downloaded as 1.1.3.2, but identifies itself as 1.1.3.1), TeXLive 2008 and xdvik 22.84.14. The DVI (source specials) command does not work, even with the python-dbus library installed. In more detail:
1. Inverse search
The dbus link does not work, but it is NOT needed: all I need to do is to...

Is it possible to have one window/application appear on two (or, in general, some but not all) desktops?
Thanks.
