I agree with the same.
It takes me like 3 days to download entire 500MB ISO just to find out 2.4 was out and Now I am in a fix, should i go with 2.3 or 2.4 or just dump AAH and work on something small, easy to download and which is easier to update/upgrade to latest version.

Seemless upgrade is something which is desirable feature that i can see.
Things really become messy after a kernel upgrade.

Well, I see some ray of hope with your post :)
Infact I have done my first step towards the contribution towards building the project to the next level (i.e. weaving Drupal around our project)
To get Asterisk@Home working on debian its going to take some while (since right now I am exploring all the softwares which have been weaved along with A@H)

Meanwhile have updated lots of section on the site, so I would request you and other contributors to have a look at the site and make neccesary changes. For e.g. Book TOC now has names of people who have contributed to the project, all you need to do is fill out relevant contact details / url over there.
