apologies but not understanding to convert. I have 4 files as containers and tried to change volume password to upgrade 4 trucrypt created files into new veracrypt but all fails in 1.25.9 installed version. Now looking at at decrypting and recrypting but also confused about how to achieve this. Is there a step by step to uncrypt and recrypt for these truecrypt file containers? thanks.

HI, 7-zip is a great compression program but i use it to open compressed files containing epub books, and when closing the epub (obviously metadata is updated in the temporary file that was opened) it allways want to update the compresed archive. Is there anyway to stop 7-zip caring about changes to files. If i want to update anything then I will do it! thanks for any clues to fix this what is a big problem for me. partial fix = disable Calibre storing the last page read inside the file, now it saves...

HI, any way to have open outside as default instead of shift-enter? and then use shift-enter as open inside? I read there is an exclude list for excluding files but can find no such exclude section in the options. Windows 10 64bit with 7-zip 17.00 64bit version. thanks
