I want to officially retire from maintaining OpenIT. I would love for one of the active developers (Nick?) to take over being the official caretaker.
I probably should have posted months ago, but I kept thinking I might come back to OpenIT.
Thanks to everyone who used and contributed to OpenIT! It was lots of fun, and I learned a lot working on it.

Actually GTK and a number of other GNOME libraries have already been ported to Windows. I don't know enough about Python+GTK+Windows to port it myself or even guess at how easy it would be, but someone with experience in those 3 technologies could probably do it in pretty short order.

Notifications aren't complete in 2.2. Much of the code is there, and there is at least 1 patch on the developer's mailing list for notifications. (See openit/inc/notification.php & openit/inc/templates/).
Notifications are a top priority for OpenIT 2.3/2.4, but unfortunately I'm busy with other projects at work right now.
