Looking at the log you attached, I think you are running into problems before it gets to Gutenprint. There are several jobs covered in the log. I will only cite from the last job -- Job 51. I did run accross this while testing the v5.3.4(?) on a Mac. That may have dated back to when I was runnong Mojave 10.14.x. I was building from the tarball and the command line rather than XCode. I had to remove -D_POSIX_C_SOURCE=200809L -std=c99 from the 'configure' file. Matt

In any event, it is possible to have two printer queues for your printer. I have always had two queues for my printers. One using the manufacturer's drivers and one using Gutenprint. when I try to see my current ink levels, I get a message "information not available." Unfortunately, Gutenprint does not have the capability to get ink levels on macos.
