I tried out JabRef, its really great. but I had a problem with special german characters like äöü and especially ß. with some encodings, e.g. ISO8859_1 ä,ö,ü were displayed right in the dvi file produced from latex, but ß was always displayed as SS.
So I would request a feature that replaces all ß with \ss{} when saving the file and when loading the user only sees ß even...

Hi!
It would be nice to have a function that can open a file in the associated program.
html->browser,
doc->Ms WORD
PDF->Acrobat reader ect.
I have written a function for that, because you have to ask the mime-manager for every opening. So I created a function that does that for me. But it's not in wxw-style, maybe it can be a suggestion:

I browsed in the buglist, but did not find this bug, but maybe it's a feature?
VCF::Directory::findFiles("*.jpg") only finds files that have the extension .jpg . It does not find .JPG or .JpG or something.
It is very confusing if the finder only finds 8 of 1k jpg-files. I think yout should change that for the windows operating system, ince file names are not case-sensitive on it...
