Hi Paul,
Yes there is and FlexUnit fully supports this. The 1.1 release will have propper documentation and the method below will change slightly (made easier) but the following is how to do it in 1.0.
In your test function you simply specify a callback method that FlexUnit will call after a specified period. You can specify the same test metjhod if you like. eg:
