The fix solves the problem, but remember to pass a binary file ("wb") to logfile_read, if you plan to receive UTF-8 chars.

I'm reading many Pragmatic Programmers PDF books, but they are updated very often. This is very good, except by the fact I need to move the reading bar from the old PDF to the new one, line by line!
I suggest a feature to move the reading bar to a specific page.
Suggestion:
A reading bar tool in the menu with two functionalities:
1) Place the reading bar in the actual page or mouse...

It didn't work.
I got the same error. Please, reopen this issue.
My problem is that the migration reports failed, but I don't know why. In my local test it works.
