  • Discover Control Reorders Panes randomly

When using 3 or more panes on the Discover Control, they seem to reorder themselves randomly when an end- user clicks on them. Somtimes, this happens while in code for the developer. Most of the time, the top pane will stay in it's spot when clicked on. In my example program, I have 6 panes, and if I click on any of the middle panes, they will reorder to the bottm. When using...

  • Comment: Can't audit machines

Logged In: YES user_id=1433070 I looked at your screenshot, and it looks like you are running version 2.52, according to the command window in the background. Try and do and uninstall and backup your database first. Then install 2.55, see what happens. 2.55 doesn't have any new features that are drastic...but 3.0 will. You can stay on 2.52 and things should be somewhat same...

  • Followup: RE: Howto enable remote audit

rederik -- If you do a "RUN" on the local machine from the start of the GUI window, should last less than 30 seconds. Doing remote audit depends on number of machines auditing (IP range) or number to audit in domain. To answer your question, no 20 minutes is waaaayyyy to long. Do you have another w2k3 machine to audit to compare?.

  • Followup: RE: DataViewerISX

After the basic inventory of your machine, it does not automatically save. For a IP range or DNS audit, it will save automatically. As far as the XML file save goes, do you mean the path to where they are saved to by default is C:\Program Files\Krolrules...? Thanks Krolrules Team.

  • Followup: RE: Howto enable remote audit

Great, thanks for the info. Can I ask you how many machines you are auditing? Originally, the documentation stated the different install states, for different sizes of networks. For 50-100 machines, doing the remote audit is nice, although it takes some time to complete. For those who want to do 500 PC's, the remote audit will take to long to complete in one day. So the options for...
