Thanks for the reply ntalex. I'll keep looking for something that will satisfy my requirements (simply). Nice product though. If I need straight video media creation in the future, I'll be back with a donation.

Thanks for your quick reply. I suspected this may be the case, but given the open source nature and the others asking the same question I am still in hopes someone may have built on the foundation already. I'll keep monitoring the thread to see what develops.
