The demonstrator lives in http://code.haskell.org/wxhaskell/bugs/StartStart.hs and does not need GHCi at all.
I get a segmentation fault under Linux.
Can anybody explain what is going on?.

Note that there's some new Cabalisation work that I expect to see landing in the main repository soon enough. This work may solve your problem along the way.

I'm using the darcs version of wxhaskell with the wxWidgets 2.8 that ships with Ubuntu Intrepid.
darcs get http://code.haskell.org/GenI
(this is a hashed repository; it requires a darcs 2 client)

I have a large mind-map.
If I zoom to fit to page, I can no longer zoom in. Counter-intuitively, if I zoom out, the image gets bigger (!); it gets magnified to 400%.
My user model if this is that Freeminds is relying on the relative position of 'user defined' zoom in the menus. In other words, 'user defined' is the last ('biggest') entry in the menu. If you ask for 'zoom out' (make...

... and following up on this, it does not appear to happen systematically. All I know is that I'm using Freemind, and periodically, it will stop responding to keyboard input. I thought it was related to my use of edit long node, but I guess this may not necessarily be the case :-/.

Oh, and in case it helps, I am using Linux and the xmonad window manager.
I have AWT_TOOLKIT=MToolkit in my environment to avoid an issue with non-reparenting windows, http://code.google.com/p/xmonad/issues/detail?id=76.

This is a minor annoyance: every time I launch Freemind, I get a splash screen for Simply HTML in addition to the Freemind one.
That's a bit busy and annoying. Maybe it would be better to parameterise things so that only the Freemind one pops up.

If I edit a long node, Freemind 0.9.0 B18 stops responding to keyboard input altogether.
Interestingly, if I open the Documentation via help, I get the keyboard back, so my workaround has been to open the documentation and then close it again. For what it's worth, creating a new document does not help.
