use clonezilla to make master images of 1 model of a PC, and distribute that image to other PCs of the same model. What I can do w/ clonezilla is adjust the size of the drive. I’ve been using Clonezilla for a while, but all of a sudden am having problems restoring images to a certain model hard drive. I made the image from a 250gb hard drive, and when I restore the image to the 250 works fine, but when I restore the image to a Western Digital, WD5003ABYZ 500gb hard drive, I see on the screen, “excluding busy disk.” I have a lot of WD5003ABYZ 500gb hard drives, and hopefully will be able to use them. I have no clue why or how this worked for me, but when I use the load into RAM/memory option booting off the USB clonezilla somehow worked with the 3050. Hopefully this will work for you if try it.

I’m using clonezilla-live-2.5.5-38-amd64. The PC is a Dell OptiPlex 3050. The PC has a Toshiba SSD 250GB. I have a few 3050s to support at work, and hoping to get clonezilla imaging to work with this model Dell. I’m guessing this has something to do with UEFI. I install Windows 10 on the 3050 using the UEFI boot method. Clonezilla is a great tool to use, but it does not seem RAID & Clonezilla work together well. Will Clonezilla work with RAID at all? When I boot clonezilla both of the hard drives are seen, but I would think clonezilla needs to see 1 drive to make an image of a RAID. I could make an image of each hard drive, and I suppose I would have to restore the image to each hard drive, right? I would like to make 1 image of the RAID and restore to the RAID.
