It is not a translation issue, it is a dictionary issue, hence contact the maintainer of the dictionary.

Yeah, I know. This should be fixed with the next batch of updates. There are a lot of other errors like that. Unfortunately, I don't know when that will be.

Note that I do not consider wiktionary a reliable source, and of those sited by dictionary.reference.com I only consider Merriam-Webster and American Heritage reliable sources.
I will add vertices and move vertexes to the variant as vertices is the preferred form.
