Just tested it some more and the orientation it works in depends on what orientation you start the the tracking with. I was starting it in portrait mode, then switching to a different app before i set it down to landscape mode. If i start the app in landscape, it works fine just as long as I don't turn my phone to portrait mode.
My current phone's stand does not let it charge while in portrait mode because it blocks the charging port. I'm only able to mount it sideways but the app loses tracking often when I do that. To re-establish tracking, I would have to turn my head sideways.

Those settings are part of the password generation profile which is handled by KeePass itself. If you don't save the profile, whatever settings you set will be retained only until you select another profile. Once you do so, all those settings are overwritten by the profile you selected. Sorry but that is out of the scope of this project. It sounds interesting but since adding the button for auto generating a username is non-trivial, it belongs in its own plugin anyway.
