Anyway, the answer to your question is that the admin.thtml can be fixed by replacing
$this->controller->Session->check('User')
with
$session->check('User')

I just would like to open this forum to anyone who has tried the preview version.
Please let me know what you think. Please bear in mind that this project is meant to be a quick and easy CMS for designers, and not a community portal (like Drupal or PHPNuke) nor an enterprise CMS (like Typo3).
If there are other similar CMS'es out there, please let me know.
