  • Classful calculations. Very Low Priority

I wonder if we should add some "classful" calculations to the calculator, maybe in the next release if not now. by this i mean, include a "classful" checkbox, which would then make the prefix implicit depending on the address which is entered (the first few bits of the address determines the class and therefore the prefix).

  • Incorporate range functions in main tabs

I'm a little confused about the "IP Range" window since it seems to accept either IPv4 or IPv6 addresses. this seems inconsistent with having separate panes for v4 and v6 for calculations. can the range calculations be incorporated somehow into the existing v4 and v6 panes?.

  • infinite loop

The range calculations don't seem to do anything most of the time. but, if i enter 8.2 and 8.2 as a range, the calculation goes into an infinite loop, using 100% cpu.

  • Calculate button

I seems to have to click on the calculate button twice before it activiates and the results are displayed in the popup window.

  • Split function display results

For variable-length results (i.e. the "split" option) then a popup window makes sense. i assume that users will want to "copy" those results, and in that case i'm not sure that the current format is useful in that regard (ie showing each prefix in both prefix and range notation). could you have a tabbed window with one pane showing prefixes and one pane showing ranges?.

  • Display main results below tab.

I think the fixed parts of the results should actually be reported in the same pane as the input fields, below the calculate and clear buttons. I think to pop up a new window with these results is unnecessary. Display results of split function in popup window. This also applies to IPv6 tab.
