kernel people've made declaration changes to those functions. my patch is down there:
one tiny but, though - it breaks compatibility with the old apis. there's a way to make it both ways but I just don't need it and don't want to overcomplicate code.

Update.
Actually yesterday I've managed to upload, but it was from
linux box using midnight commander and I have no idea really
which password/magic word/woodoo dance was used to succeed.
So seems like it's a problem of all the windows
clients(which is weird) or the docs stating to use email as
password are wrong.
Coming from this I don't know if the issue...

Hi.
I'm trying to publish new release but every time I
upload my file to ftp://upload.sourceforge.net/incoming
using anonymous account and my email address stated in
my account preferences as password - I receive "550
unauthorized".
I've tried already all emails i can remember as
password and all ftp clients i can reach(filezilla,
cmdline ftp, iexplorer, yes I'm on windows 2003), but...

Hi there. For last couple of years I wanted to fix some minor issues in vital desktop and finally they are here. This release contains no code additions, so hopefully it works same as previous one. I've just removed some old-and-useless parts, added new graphics and fixed some old.
The general status of the project remains the same. Hybernated.

we have about 90 downloads and 300 hits a day, no code changes for last year(and i don't suppose to do any in the future) and also i decided not to pay for domain vital-desktop.com for next year, so it will be freely available from about january 2004.
long live the project.
and if you want some new feature/bug fix - you are welcome to get the source and make it. if not you, who else?.
