Hi Unfortunately there is currently no way for a widget to access data stored in pdf format. If there are schedules in html or if eventually pdf reading becomes possible, I would be able to support Halifax.

  • Playing error

Hi I like gmusicbrowser very much, but I am having a playback problem. Everything works fine for a while, but at one point I get the following error whenever I try to play a track, using the gstreamer backend: Playing error : No URI specified to play from. at /usr/bin/../share/gmusicbrowser/gmusicbrowser_gstreamer-0.10.pm line 83. Thanks Fred.

  • Comment: No internet connection notice

The notice would interfere with the data that has been fetched and stored already. The widget can still be usable for a while even after the connection is lost. This would require significant change, and is for now not worth it.

  • Comment: Dock vitality

A basic dock item has been added and will be available in the next release. It displays only the next passage time at the first listed bus stop (displayed or not). Background color matches that of the main widget.

Yes, that is exactly what I was looking for, Thank you. This way it should be quite easy to get the file done. I am quite busy right now, but I'll try to release the file within a few weeks.

Thanks for your interest in the Auto-Bus widget. A request has already been made for the TTC and I have already started work on the file. The work I have done so far is available at the original request for Toronto: https://sourceforge.net/tracker/index.php?func=detail&aid=1677909&group_id=190155&atid=932560 Note that the file is not yet functional, but if you know javascript and html you...

Hi I am having trouble finding the schedules on the web site. From the address you gave, I changed the language to English, clicked Buses, then clicked Timetables and then the select button, but it doesn't seem to give anything. If you could help me out a bit, I'd be glad to make the file.

Hi Please specify a web page where the schedules or the next passage times are available. I found this web page (http://www.itinerarium.net/default.aspx?tab=3) but can't find actual bus times.

Unfortunately, the timetables are only given in pdf format, which the widget can't read. It may be possible to use the "Trip planner" to get the times, but that would be complicated and due to the many pending requests I won't be able to do that soon. I suggest you log into a SourceForge account in order to monitor this tracker so that you are automatically notified when progress is made...

Ok, thanks for the website. The schedules given there are only available in pdf format though, so that won't work. However, There is a real time departures section which would be perfect for the widget. Could you provide me with a few stop numbers to try out?.
