What's happening?

  • Comment: Patch: Support for IXP43x

    The relation is quite limited: Both share manufacturer and the fact they have an ARM core. But the SA100 is a SoC for mobile devices while the IXP series is used for network appliances. It might be better to search in multiple directories, but if its easier to change the folder to a generic name this would be a solution too.

  • Patch: Support for IXP43x

    I have prepared a patch against latest CVS adding support for the Intel IXP43x series SoC devices. Its basically tested and works for writing to a NOR flash connected to the bus of an IXP430 using a Wiggler type JTAG device. I'll try some more later today. One problem I see is that the JTAG ID for SA1100 and IXP43x are the same and I had to comment out the SA1100 entry from the PARTS file.
