Yes, I understand that the new binding appeared due to installing the new version. My point is that the new version of Geany should not have added a "default" keybinding that stomps on top of my existing one. That's not a default, that's a broken upgrade process.
I searched for the binding by opening keybindings.conf in my text editor, as I said before.

Further investigation revealed that the Preferences dialog contained a second keybinding for Control-J, which didn't show up in my search of keybindings.conf. Removing it restored my ability to map Control-J. It leaves me wondering, though:
1. Why did Geany add a new binding (that I didn't ask for) that conflicted with my tried-and-true binding?
2. Why didn't searching for ">j" in...

I just upgraded from Geany 0.16 to 0.18 by way of the latest Ubuntu linux release, and my Control-J keybinding is now misbehaving. Instead of go-to-line (as I have specified in keybindings.conf), it now mangles the line my cursor is on.

Some time in the past few weeks, the keyboard shortcuts I've been using to navigate comments in a Slashdot story stopped working correctly. Instead of moving the pointer and scrolling my browser window to the next/previous comment, they scroll my browser window to the top of the page. This happens with both the s/w/a/d and the j/k/h/l key sets, and makes them useless.
