After investigating this problem, I have found that the "jumping-windows" filter, enabled by default in my Ubuntu install of privoxy, effectively disables OpenStreetMap. It prevents the tiles from loading and so you end up with a big empty white square.
This rule in user.action solves the problem:
{-filter{jumping-windows}}
.openstreetmap.org.

When the synergy client crashes while the user is typing a password, the focus switches to the server machine and then the password ends up being pasted in the wrong window. This has led to my pasting passwords in IRC windows before.
A nice way to patch this would be: when the server can no longer talk to the client, swallow the next second or two of keyboard input. This has minimal impact...

Sorry, maybe I wasn't clear with the timestamp checking suggestion. I was definitely not suggesting that rkhunter check for timestamps instead of hashes when it does its nightly scan or when we force it to update all properties. Instead, here's what I had in mind.
