Hi,
When playing eboard via a direct connection, after promoting the piece still appers as a pawn on the oppenent's screen. Also, it *behaves* like a pawn.
Test case:
----------
Launch eboard twice and connect eachother directly then play this game:
1. e4 f5
2. exf5 g6
3. fxg6 h6
4. g7 h5
5. gxh8=Q
At this point, you should get a queen on white's screen but a pawn...

The Kumite project (https://sourceforge.net/projects/kumite/) unfortunately didn't make it out of the paper. Nothing been done for more than a year and half, no source code has been released, and as such I think it's eligible for removal.
I apologize for having registrated a project that didn't benefit the community at all.
