- simulation of S1 Core works great with Icarus 0.8 (THANKS!);
- simulation with later versions (e.g. 0.8.2 and 0.8.3)
shows the assertion you wrote;
- synthesis with whatever version (0.8->0.8.3) dies with
another assertion.
