Due to API changes in gucharmap 2.24, it's pkgconfig file got renamed and
1 - libtomoe-gtk doesn't detect it anymore
2 - libtomoe-gtk needs to update its code to build against this new release.
Here is a patch I developped for our downstream bug at gentoo:
https://bugs.gentoo.org/show_bug.cgi?id=243160
I'm not sure how to test it besides compilation because I haven't looked yet how...

Hi guys,
please consider the following patch which enables distros to select whether to enable or not the options listed in summary.
This is a quick'n'dirty patch so you may want to enhance it by adding nice AC_MSG, ... or refining it with automatic detection + yes/no option.

As I just sent to the ml, I understand lzip format might be superior, gentoo just tries to keep its source packages as close to upstream as possible and having not yet supported formats (on the distrib side) delays goodness for the user. Thanks for adding an alternative for latest release.

ok I checked out the sources and figured it needs lzip compressor which is not available on my distribution of choice (gentoo). Please consider either using lzma-utils (or something truely compatible with its format) or distributing a second tarball in a more common format (tar.gz or tar.bz2). Thanks for considering.

looks like the archive was generated by some too recent software, lzma-utils 4.32 (which is the stable series) cannot uncompress the archive, is this another format you are using or lzma-4.42+ ?.
