  • Newsboard 0.5

Newsboard 0.5 is now released and now allows users to edit and delete their own posts and admins to edit and delete all posts, as well as many other small improvements. The new version is already set up on the demonstration website: http://www.essoft.co.uk/newsboard.

  • Newsboard - next version

I am starting work on updating Newsboard to the next version (0.5). New features I will be implementing include the facility to modify/delete posts and fixing a bug that could potentially occur if two users trial to update the same record at the same time (although unlikely in Newsboard it is a more likely occurence when the ability to modify and delete posts is added).

  • Newsboard 0.4

Newsboard 0.4 is now released for download and it has been installed on our demonstration site (http://essoft.co.uk/newsboard). The look of the HTML pages has been vastly improved in this release.

  • Newsboard 0.3

Newsboard 0.3 is now available to download. There is only one change in this release and that is encrypted passwords, but I think it's an important improvement.

  • Newsboard 0.2 on test site

Version 0.2 of Newsboard is now uploaded to our demonstration site: http://essoft.co.uk/newsboard. I have changed the code for the test site so that everybody is admin (so you can try out the admin pages) but I have removed the code that actually makes the changes.

  • Newsboard 0.2 Released

Newsboard 0.2 is now downloadable. There have been many changes in this release including configuration pages, admin users, ability to allow admins to lock the newsboard to new users. Our Newsboard demonstration site still has version 0.1 on it, but I will upload 0.2 to that soon (my internet connection is being very unreliable today). I hope you like Newsboard 0.2.

  • Newsboard demo site

So that you can see what Newsboard looks like and what it does without having to set it up yourself I have created a Newsboard demo site: http://essoft.co.uk/newsboard.
